Found one flying around a tree. Think just take a look around the area and you might find one. At /way 71.91 31.15

Found mine at 68.92 23.43 in Azure Span.
The critters spawn mostly near small clumps of trees in the area east of Rhonin's Shield.
On the map there's a "circular" piece of road divided by a frozen river. That's the general area to search in.
Killing the critters should help the Battle Pet version to spawn.

Don't be a greedy guy like me:
I found one, but it was Poor quality, while the secondary Azure Crystalpine was rare. What should I say: looked around for an hour and did not find a nother Snowy Treeflitter. Dang.

Found mine in the area above when flying. Surprisingly, this pet is not part of the Dragon Isles Safari Achievement, which tells me this is a fairly rare pet. I suggest catching this whenever you see it, even if pets with it are rare.

These seem to be a rare-ish spawn of neutral critters of the same name. Just run around killing the neutrals until one spawns as a battle pet.

In all locations, you can start killing the critters until a pet battle spawns, or just realm hop :) GL Hunting

The spawn points are in mostly a circular pattern near trees, in the Azure Span, Upper Frostlands. I consolidated the list (and added some more):

It took me three days of farming these lil @#$%ers to finally find one that's S/S.
There seems to only be one up at a time as a pet battle, and it takes a few minutes for another to spawn after killing/capturing the only one up. Thankfully they only spawn in a small area and it's super easy to fly a circle around and spam a target macro to find them. It may help if you kill the ones that are only critters (not pet battles) because they have a chance to respawn as a pet battle. Personally, I also found that flying around the zone and killing other pets that are up as pet battles seems to give the Snowy Treeflitters a better chance to respawn as pet battles.
(I believe this is because there can only be so many pet battles up at once in each zone, but I could be wrong.)
